Sometimes I listen to sad, emotional music but it does just that- makes me sad and Racoon Drink all the wine shirt. As others have suggested, why not try listening to some upbeat, positive songs- try even singing and maybe dancing or working out along to them, almost a guaranteed mood booster! I’d suggest trying out various music genres if one doesn’t speak to you, perhaps another one will. Even better, maybe consider trying to learn how to play music! For a few years, I took guitar lessons, loved it enough that I ended up buying 3 guitars!
